4 Weeks with The Four Elements is a simple journey through your well-being. All it requires is to take a few minutes each day to consider how you’re living and what’s going on with you, and your world.

As the guiding principle for Pavelka, you have heard of The Four Elements – Eat, Sweat, Think and Connect. But what do they mean for your approach to health and well-being, and for your daily lifestyle?

Particularly in the context of mental health, it’s living with all Four Elements, each day, that gives you a strong foundation for your well-being.

Your 4 weeks starts with your first 7 days, follow the steps below to get you started...

STEP 1

'My Why'

Action: As simple as it sounds – think about your ‘why’: Your purpose and your reasons for looking at your well-being.

It could be that you want to be well so that you can support others, or so you can make the most of life. It could be a fitness goal or just that you want to make small changes and put good habits into your day.

STEP 2

Download

'Your Commitment'

Action: Think about how you’re currently living, your state of well-being, and what actions you would like to take for each of Eat, Sweat, Think, Connect.

It can be small or big (and small is often best) from reminding yourself to eat breakfast, or have more fibre, to putting in time in your calendar each day to move, or to just think. Whatever the small commitment to each Element, writing it down with pen and paper makes it real – your commitment to following through.

STEP 3

'Your First Seven Days'

Action: Follow the pages and take just a few minutes, each day, to write down your plan.

It might seem that you already know what’s in your mind and what you plan – but noting down both what you will do, and then at the end of the day what happened, gives mental clarity to how you have lived that 24 hours.

STEP 4

Share your

experience

Action: As your journey through your 7 days, share thunderbolt moments, share small surprises and share your awareness of mental health.

Share your moments in the Pavelka Community #eatsweatthinkconnect

Maybe involve your partner, family or friend and find new awareness of how they think and feel.
